Job summary

Middle East Investment and Management Consultancy seeks an experienced House Manager to oversee the private residence of a VVIP family in the UAE. The role focuses on flawless operations, staff supervision, and guest services within a confidential, high-profile environment.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of private residence experience, excellence in service standards, and proven leadership of multicultural teams, while upholding discretion and impeccable presentation.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, Butler Manager, Household Manager, Residence Manager, or similar position.
• Previous experience in a VVIP, Royal Family, UHNW private household, luxury residence, palace, five-star hotel, or premium hospitality environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of luxury household operations and service standards.
• Proven experience managing and supervising a multicultural household team.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance, manners, and impeccable personal presentation.
• Strong knowledge of formal dining, guest service, household etiquette, and VIP protocols.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the private residence and ensure the highest standards of service.
• Supervise, coordinate, and manage household staff, including housekeepers, butlers, drivers, nannies, chefs, gardeners, maintenance personnel, and other support staff.
• Prepare staff duty rosters, schedules, leave plans, and daily task allocations.
• Coordinate daily household activities according to the Principal’s requirements and preferences.
• Coordinate formal and informal events, family gatherings, dinners, and VVIP guest visits.
• Manage household inventories, including food, beverages, cleaning materials, linen, amenities, uniforms, and other supplies.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, maintenance teams, security, and other external service providers.
• Oversee household maintenance and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff regarding menus, special requirements, dietary preferences, and meal schedules.
• Ensure appropriate preparation and service for official and private functions.
• Maintain accurate household records, inventories, schedules, and operational reports.
