Our client is a prominent financial services organization based in the UAE. They are seeking a Senior Manager to provide exceptional operational support for their business. This role involves leading, managing, and developing multiple TCM Operations specialist teams, which operate both from the office and remote locations.

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for delivering world-class Operational support to the TCM business and proactively driving the E2E automation of key activities and processes within TCM Operations.
  • Role responsibilities include TCM Operations product support to RBG, CIBG & IBG customer groups.
  • Effective management of TCM Operations, to ensure: adequate control over and monitoring of trading, market or credit risk; identification and escalation of deviations from authorized limits; and to ensure timely processing, settlement and accounting of FX, MM and Capital market, equity products (Local and Overseas).
  • Develop and execute a TCM Operations market and transformation strategy that aligns with the Bank's vision, mission, and values.
  • Implement appropriate control measures in line with internal and local & international regulatory/statutory framework (eg: Basel etc) within TCM Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To effectively lead planning, operations, and problem-solving to ensure high-quality service delivery for TCM business in UAE, in line with agreed service level agreements.
  • Partner with TCM and CIBG, IBG & RBG businesses and product teams to drive solutions for improved customer experience, efficiency, control and quality service delivery.
  • Lead the standardization and automation of activities within TCM Operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Driving efficiency through continuously identifying process and activity changes along with the delivery of benefit realization.
  • Ensure optimal staff productivity, and provide coaching and counseling whenever required to managers, including Job rotation, cross-training, performance management and training needs, and all other people-related activities.
  • Ensure that units operating procedures are clearly documented, reviewed and up to date. Processes are reviewed and effective controls are in place to mitigate risks and safeguard the bank and its customers.
  • Ensure that all units function in a controlled environment and achieve and maintain a satisfactory Audit Rating and Nil Operational losses.
  • Proactive involvement & project engagement to ensure successful delivery of the entity's strategic projects through a detailed plan developed for TCM Operations deliverables, appropriate progress reporting & escalation, and maximizing STP rates.

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate Degree from a reputed University, desirable, or a Graduate with requisite experience from a top bank.
  • 10 years of experience in Treasury Operations of a medium-sized Bank at a Senior Management level
  • Must have a technical understanding of all TCM products to ensure proper recording and highlighting of risk. Should also be familiar with valuation techniques of derivative products.
  • Familiarity with Project Management in a Lean/Agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of emerging digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex digital concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of local regulatory rules and legislation, and various international requirements.
