Job summary

Odeko is seeking a senior sourcing executive to own the supplier base end to end in Dubai, UAE. You will lead negotiations on price, MOQs, lead times, rebates, and payment terms while shaping category strategy with revenue teams.

The role requires deep experience in sourcing, strong leadership, and a track record with multi-million spend; you will drive margin improvements and build the private label program from category selection through supplier development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sourcing, procurement, or merchandising.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution, foodservice, or CPG.
• Proven track record managing annual spend exceeding $250MM.
• Experience leading negotiations on contracts valued at $10M+ annually.
• Experience managing commodity-exposed category books.
• Experience with category management and assortment decisions.
• Experience deploying AI or advanced-analytics solutions for sourcing.
• Strong executive presence and ability to partner with cross-functional leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or economics (MBA preferred)

Responsibilities

• Own the supplier base end to end including selection, consolidation, and tiering strategy
• Lead negotiations on package price, MOQs, lead times, rebates, and payment terms
• Drive improvements on gross margin percentage and landed COGS
• Manage assortment and category strategy in collaboration with revenue teams
• Run Odeko's private label from category selection through supplier development
• Build and lead the new category manager organization
