Job summary

The Citco Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a VP Real Estate Fund Accounting to lead end-to-end fund accounting for complex real estate structures, including consolidation, GAAP/IFRS, and regulatory reporting.

You will oversee general ledgers, prepare financial statements and footnotes, review client agreements, and coordinate with auditors while mentoring junior staff in a client-focused, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Finance or related field.
• Designated accountant or working towards ACA ACCA CIMA or CPA.
• 10 years of public/private real estate accounting experience.
• Experienced in preparing and reviewing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries.
• Prepare trial balances and work papers.
• Prepare financial statements footnotes and allocations.
• Prepare and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets and data.
• Consolidation for complex fund structures and GAAP memos.
