Job summary

Swisslinx Middle East, a Dubai-based investment firm, seeks a VP Legal and Compliance to lead the legal and compliance functions. You will draft and review contracts, provide practical legal guidance, and oversee risk management for the company and its funds.

You will collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and COO, monitor regulatory developments, particularly DFSA and DIFC frameworks, and develop a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Qualifications

Qualified attorney-at-law with LL.M.
6 years of experience in legal and compliance.
Experience with DIFC/DFSA preferred but not essential.
In-depth knowledge of contract law, employment law and governance.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Draft and review contracts, agreements and other legal documents to ensure they are sound and enforceable.
Provide expert legal advice on contracts, fund documents and various agreements.
Evaluate and advise on legal risks and compliance issues; mitigate potential issues.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting the company and its funds.
Collaborate with internal teams (admin, HR, finance, operations) to provide legal support; handle investor inquiries.
