Job summary

Confidential, Dubai-based, seeks a Vice President - Audit to lead a large Internal Audit function across a multi-business environment. The role reports to the Board and focuses on delivering independent assurance, governance effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the organization.

The ideal candidate will drive an enterprise-wide audit program, mentor a high-performing team, and work with senior leaders to enhance governance, controls, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading Internal Audit in large, multi-business organizations.
• Proven ability to translate audit findings into practical business improvements.
• Strong governance, risk and controls expertise.
• Ability to engage with executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
• Experience with Enterprise Risk Management frameworks is advantageous.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, CRMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a risk-based Internal Audit strategy and annual plan.
• Lead audits across operational, financial, compliance, and functional areas.
• Evaluate governance, internal controls, and key processes for effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve performance.
• Drive process improvement and continuous enhancement across the organization.
• Monitor remediation plans and timely audit actions.
• Present findings and insights to the Board and executives.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders while maintaining independence.
