Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim Holding in the UAE seeks a VP - Finance (Country Finance Manager) to lead MAF Retail's finance function, set strategic directions, and drive the annual business plan. The role oversees financial systems, policies, and reporting to ensure IFRS compliance and robust stakeholder engagement.

You will partner with department heads to align objectives, manage costing, and produce timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years in a Finance Department with a Managerial position.
• 5+ years in the retail industry.
• Demonstrated high level skills in management.
• Experienced communicator, ability to develop stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in setting and reviewing MAF Retail's strategy in collaboration with management, including objectives and budgets.
• Direct the process of designing, reviewing and updating financial systems, procedures and policies.
• Lead the costing process of the company's products, balancing profit margin with costs.
• Collaborate with department heads on setting annual objectives, budgets and plans.
• Lead the preparation and updating of financial statements per IFRS.
• Ensure regulatory reports are completed as required.
