JOB TITLE: VP, Digital & Social

LOCATION: Abu Dhabi

CONTRACT TYPE: 6-month secondment with the potential to go full-time, permanent

REPORTING TO: SVP, Brand and Marketing

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Vice President, Digital & Social, will provide strategic leadership across the company’s digital and social media ecosystem. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, enhancing performance, and ensuring alignment with brand narratives and business objectives across all digital touchpoints. The incumbent will be expected to implement cutting‑edge strategies that maximise engagement and drive measurable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and drive the overall digital and social strategy across multiple platforms including all operating companies’ websites.
  • Lead the development and execution of platform‑specific strategies for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Snapchat for both brands, ensuring cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of unified content frameworks that are aligned with brand narratives, while also managing performance analytics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Drive digital innovation initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Guide the strategic evolution of corporate websites, including overseeing comprehensive redesign projects, improving user experience (UX) optimisation, and implementing effective Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies.
  • Own and manage governance and brand safety across all social media accounts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate digital and social media strategies with broader marketing, PR, and corporate communication goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets for digital and social media initiatives, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the digital and social media teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 18 years of experience in digital marketing and social media strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing diverse digital initiatives.
  • Proven track record of driving digital transformation and innovation within large organisations, with measurable success in enhancing brand presence and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, UX, and website analytics, with a demonstrated ability to implement effective strategies that drive traffic and conversion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on results and accountability.
