Job summary

Discovered MENA partners with a leading financial services organisation in Abu Dhabi to transform how data is governed, managed, and made available for AI and analytics.

You will own strategic data transformation initiatives, collaborating with Data, AI, Technology, Architecture and Governance teams to drive scalable data maturity and AI delivery across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex data transformation programmes in large‑scale enterprises.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms, architectures, and enterprise data management.
• Strong knowledge of data requirements underpinning AI/ML including data quality, feature engineering, model governance, and scalable AI delivery.
• Experience applying AI/ML to data management, such as automated lineage discovery or metadata extraction.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across business and technology functions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the organisation’s data transformation roadmap to support AI and analytics at scale.
• Drive adoption of modern data management practices across governance, data quality, lineage, metadata, master data, and data products.
• Use AI and metadata‑driven approaches to modernise data governance and quality processes.
• Identify and remove data and organisational bottlenecks affecting AI/analytics delivery.
• Establish scalable data transformation frameworks, standards, governance processes, and execution plans.
• Partner with Data Science, Technology, Architecture, Governance, and business teams to raise enterprise data maturity.

We’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation in Abu Dhabi that is investing significantly in its AI and data capabilities.

This is a senior, hands‑on position focused on transforming how data is governed, managed, and made available for AI and analytics across the organisation. You’ll own strategic data transformation initiatives while working across Data, AI, Technology, Architecture, and Governance teams.

The role is particularly focused on using AI to transform traditional data management, automating areas such as data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata management to enable AI initiatives to move into production faster and at greater scale.
