Job summary

Client of Discovered MENA in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior data transformation lead to own strategic initiatives that govern, manage, and make data available for AI and analytics across the organisation. You will drive data transformation efforts partnering with Data, AI, Technology Architecture, and Governance teams to enable AI-ready data at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex data transformation programmes within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across data governance, data quality, lineage, metadata management, master data management, and/or data products.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms, architectures, and enterprise data management.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML data requirements, including data quality, feature engineering, model governance, and scalable AI delivery.
• Experience applying AI and machine learning to data management, such as automated lineage discovery, metadata extraction, or data quality assessment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across business and technology functions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the organisation's data transformation roadmap ensuring data capabilities can support AI and analytics at scale
• Drive the adoption of modern data management practices across governance data quality lineage metadata master data and data products
• Use AI automation and metadata-driven approaches to modernise traditionally manual data governance and quality processes
• Identify and remove data and organisational bottlenecks that impact the delivery of AI and analytics initiatives
• Establish scalable data transformation frameworks standards governance processes and execution plans
• Partner closely with Data Science Technology Architecture Governance and business teams to improve enterprise-wide data maturity
