Job summary

Parker Connect in Dubai seeks a VM Manager/Sr Manager to lead the visual merchandising strategy across all stores, creating an inspiring, brand-aligned, and commercially effective customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the VM strategy across all stores in line with brand standards and commercial objectives.
  • Lead design and implementation of window displays, room sets, feature areas, promotional zones, and in-store signage.
  • Create seasonal visual calendars and campaign rollouts for product launches, promotions, and festive periods.
  • Suggest and optimise floor layouts, product adjacencies, and category presentation to improve customer flow, product visibility, and conversion.
  • Partner with buying, marketing, operations, and store teams to ensure timely execution of visual directives.
  • Establish and maintain VM guidelines, display standards, and planograms for consistent execution across stores.
  • Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess visual standards, identify opportunities, and coach teams on best practices.
  • Analyze customer behavior and store feedback to evaluate the impact of visual initiatives and refine strategies.
  • Manage budgets for props, fixtures, signage, and seasonal display materials, ensuring cost-effective execution.
  • Lead, train, and develop the visual merchandising team and store teams on display maintenance and brand presentation.
  • Stay informed on home furnishing trends, competitor activity, and retail design innovations to keep stores relevant and inspiring.
  • Ensure all visual displays comply with health, safety, and operational standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.

7–10 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising, including 3–5 years in a leadership capacity, preferably within home furnishings, lifestyle, or large-format retail environments.

Proven portfolio showcasing expertise in commercial visual merchandising, store layout and space planning, and end-to-end campaign execution.
