Job summary

DC Aviation Al Futtaim in Dubai UAE is hiring a Flight Engineer (ACJ) to oversee maintenance and defect rectification, supervise staff, and ensure safe, on-time aircraft dispatch for corporate and VIP operations. The role requires CAR 66 or EASA B1/B1/B2 licenses and A320 family ratings, with preferred additional type ratings.

Minimum 5 years in corporate/VIP aviation, ideally with Middle East experience; residency in Dubai is expected. This is a full-time contract based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Valid CAR 66 or EASA B1/B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance License is required.
• Airbus A318/A319/A320 Type Rating is required.
• Additional type ratings on Bombardier Global Express, Falcon 6X/7X, and Challenger 604/605/650 are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate/VIP aviation environment.
• Prior Middle East experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and rectify defects as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Supervise maintenance staff allocated by the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure safe and on-time dispatch of aircraft under control.
• Issue Certificates of Release to Service for work performed in accordance with maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
• Review resources and priorities to ensure efficient use of staff and on-time delivery.
