Job summary

Client of Fitstaff, Abu Dhabi, seeks an exceptional female Physiotherapist to provide personalised in-home care for a VIP family. The role requires comprehensive assessment, bespoke rehabilitation, and advanced manual therapy across a private residence.

You will work alongside a private Personal Trainer to create integrated rehab plans, and occasional international travel will be required to ensure continuity of care and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 5 years' professional physiotherapy experience.
• Current licence with up-to-date CPD certifications.
• Strong musculoskeletal physiotherapy background.
• Experience with ACL post-operative rehabilitation.
• Experience treating TMJ dysfunction and jaw conditions.
• Advanced manual therapy skills including dry needling, acupuncture, and cupping.
• Competent with ultrasound therapy and related technologies.
• Experience treating athletes and general population clients.
• VIP/private practice experience is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and progress evaluations.
• Design and implement personalised rehabilitation and treatment programmes for each family member.
• Deliver manual therapy techniques including dry needling, acupuncture, cupping, and soft tissue treatments.
• Operate physiotherapy equipment including ultrasound therapy and other modalities.
• Lead ACL post-operative rehabilitation programmes.
• Assess and treat TMJ dysfunction and related musculoskeletal conditions.
• Diagnose and manage injuries and movement dysfunction.
• Collaborate with the Personal Trainer to align rehabilitation and exercise programmes.
• Develop movement, mobility, injury prevention and wellness programmes.
• Provide home exercise programmes and ongoing guidance for long-term recovery.
• Liaise with external medical professionals when required.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and professional standards.

About the Role

Based in Abu Dhabi this permanent position involves providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to family members with varying rehabilitation musculoskeletal mobility and wellness needs. You will work closely with the family's private Personal Trainer to create an integrated approach to rehabilitation movement strength and long-term physical wellbeing. Occasional international travel will be required to ensure continuity of care while accompanying the family.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and ongoing progress evaluations
• Design and implement personalised rehabilitation and treatment programmes for each family member
• Deliver advanced manual therapy techniques including dry needling, acupuncture, cupping therapy and soft tissue treatments
• Operate physiotherapy equipment including ultrasound therapy and other clinical modalities
• Lead ACL post-operative rehabilitation programmes
• Assess and treat TMJ dysfunction, jaw pain and related musculoskeletal conditions
• Diagnose and manage joint injuries, mobility restrictions, chronic pain and movement dysfunction involving the knees, shoulders, hips, spine and jaw
• Collaborate with the family's Personal Trainer to ensure rehabilitation and exercise programmes complement one another
• Develop movement, mobility, injury prevention and wellness programmes suited to each individual's goals and lifestyle
• Provide education, home exercise programmes and ongoing guidance to support long-term recovery and health
• Liaise with external medical professionals and specialists where required
• Maintain accurate treatment records while ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic treatment environment
• Accompany the family on international travel when required, providing uninterrupted physiotherapy support
• Stay current with industry developments through continuing professional education and clinical research

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 5 years' professional physiotherapy experience
• Current physiotherapy licence with up-to-date CPD certifications
• Strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
• Demonstrated experience managing ACL post-operative rehabilitation
• Experience treating TMJ dysfunction and related jaw conditions
• Advanced skills in manual therapy, including dry needling, acupuncture, and cupping therapy
• Competent in the use of ultrasound therapy equipment and other physiotherapy technologies
• Experience treating both athletes and general population clients across a broad range of injuries and conditions
• Previous experience working with VIP clients or within private practice is highly advantageous
