Job summary

United Al Saqer Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a registered physiotherapist with enthusiasm for small animals to join our newly established practice. You will oversee the wellness physiotherapy area and lead a range of services including rehabilitation, osteopathy, laser therapy, electrotherapy, TENS, hydrotherapy, and shockwave therapy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a practicing physiotherapist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient assessment.
• Ability to create personalized treatment plans and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide junior veterinarians and students in physiotherapy rehabilitation medicine activities.
• Provide leadership across the physiotherapy wellness area, ensuring best practice patient care.
• Treat a range of complaints including spinal problems, joint problems, and injuries to muscles, ligaments and tendons.
• Facilitate post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Devise exercise regimes for a range of conditions from neurological conditions to obesity to preventative physiotherapy.
• Work with General Manager to improve strategies to manage patient flow.
• Lead clinical standards and build a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Work closely with colleagues, nurturing teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, statutes, and policies and procedures.
• Provide inputs to general management in business planning.
