Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent training in hospitality, catering, or culinary arts.
Apprenticeship or prior experience as a butler, footman, or related role.
Knowledge of wines, dining protocols, and guest service standards.
Ability to plan, purchase, and manage household supplies and inventories.

Responsibilities

Oversee household upkeep and supervise staff to maintain high standards of service.
Answer calls and correspondences on behalf of the employer.
Greet guests professionally and manage staff attendance and payroll.
Source, train, and schedule staff; coordinate payroll and budgets.
Maintain estate assets including artworks, antiques, and silverware.
Assist with asset management of wines, cigars, books, and automobiles.
Plan and support events, dinners, and hosted activities.
Ensure decorum, discretion, and professionalism in all duties.
