Job summary

Kayali in Dubai seeks a creative Video Editor to join the Content Production team. You will transform raw footage and photography into social-first content across platforms, blending storytelling with cutting-edge editing techniques.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in video or multimedia production, a strong portfolio, and advanced Adobe skills, including AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Digital Media, or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing video, photography, and social content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of AI creative tools such as OpenAI tools, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video and photo content for social media, campaigns, digital platforms, and brand moments.
• Transform raw footage into compelling short-form, long-form, and campaign-ready edits.
• Retouch, enhance, and manipulate imagery for social, e-commerce, and marketing use.
• Apply colour grading, sound design, subtitles, pacing, and finishing to elevate final outputs.
• Create polished final assets optimised for multiple channels and formats.
• Work within structured production pipelines, managing versioning, feedback cycles, and multi-format delivery from ingest to final output.
• Help elevate a strong, consistent visual house style, translating brand identity into a clear, scalable editing language.

Summary

We are looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Video Editor to join our Content Production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for storytelling, culture, and technology, with expertise in video editing, photo editing, and AI-supported content creation.

You will be responsible for transforming raw footage, photography, and creative assets into high-performing social-first content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has a sharp editorial eye, understands fast-moving digital trends, and can blend traditional production craft with social native editing approaches to create standout work at speed.

Key Responsibilities

Content Editing & Production

Edit high-quality video and photo content for social media, campaigns, digital platforms, and brand moments

Transform raw footage into compelling short-form, long-form, and campaign-ready edits

Retouch, enhance, and manipulate imagery for social, e-commerce, and marketing use

Apply colour grading, sound design, subtitles, pacing, and finishing to elevate final outputs

Create polished final assets optimised for multiple channels and formats

Work within structured production pipelines, managing versioning, feedback cycles, and multi-format delivery from ingest to final output

Help elevate a strong, consistent visual house style, translating brand identity into a clear, scalable editing language

AI Content Creation

Use AI tools to accelerate editing workflows, concept development, image generation, clean-up, upscaling, captioning, and creative experimentation

Integrate AI-assisted storytelling while maintaining strong brand standards and human creative judgement

Social & Creative Collaboration

Partner with Social, Brand, Marketing, and Creative teams to interpret briefs and turn ideas into engaging content

Adapt edits for platform best practices across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta and emerging channels

Stay close to internet culture, editing trends, creator formats, and audience behaviour

Contribute proactive creative ideas for campaigns, launches, and reactive moments

Asset Management & Optimisation

Maintain an organised digital asset library across video, photography, graphics, and project files

Deliver multiple versions, crops, and formats efficiently

Review content performance and provide recommendations to improve future edits

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Digital Media, or related field preferred

4+ years of experience in video editing, photo editing, or multimedia production

Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across video, photography, and social content

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator

Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual trends

Experience with colour correction, audio mixing, retouching, and finishing

Familiarity with AI creative tools such as OpenAI tools, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, or similar platforms

Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects

Excellent communication and collaborative mindset

High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Bonus Skills

Photography or videography shooting experience

Experience editing creator/influencer content

Understanding of luxury, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle content standards

Experience working in a fast-paced in-house brand or agency environment
