Qualifications

Vice President – Portfolio Management (Private Equity & Asset Management)

We are supporting a leading investment firm in Abu Dhabi in the search for a Vice President of Portfolio Management. This position is designated under the firm’s Emiratisation programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead portfolio management activities across multiple assets, ensuring strong performance, risk management, and long-term value creation.
  • Build, review, and optimise complex financial models to support investment decisions, valuations, and scenario analysis.
  • Manage and structure joint ventures (JVs), including negotiation, partner engagement, and alignment of commercial terms.
  • Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, financial assessment, and integration planning.
  • Monitor portfolio KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present insights to senior leadership and investment committees.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, external advisors, and JV partners to drive strategic value initiatives.
Requirements:
  • This role falls under the firm’s Emiratisation hiring mandate.
  • 7–12 years of experience in investment management, portfolio management, corporate finance, or M&A.
  • Background in real estate or infrastructure investments is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional financial modelling skills and strong analytical capability.
  • Proven experience in JV structuring, partnership management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Solid track record in M&A execution, including due diligence and deal structuring.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; Master’s or CFA preferred.
