We are partnering with a well‑established and highly reputable financial services institution in the UAE to appoint a Vice President HR Business Partner. This is a strategic and operational HR role supporting senior leadership across multiple business functions, driving organisational effectiveness, engagement, and workforce alignment within a corporate environment.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring the seamless delivery of people initiatives while promoting a high‑performance culture and supporting long‑term capability building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Partnership
    Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leaders across several business units.
    Ensure people strategies are aligned with business priorities and organisational goals.
    Support structural changes, organisational design discussions, and workforce planning in partnership with senior HR leadership.
  • HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
    Oversee and ensure accuracy of HR lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, and exits.
    Collaborate with centralised HR teams (Employee Services, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS) to resolve day‑to‑day employee matters with precision and efficiency.
    Manage operational HR activities aligned with the Annual Performance Calendar.
  • Employee Relations & Performance
    Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary cases, grievances, and long‑term sickness cases.
    Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, escalating when necessary.
    Support leaders in executing engagement initiatives and action plans from employee experience surveys.
  • Recruitment & Talent Support
    Support talent acquisition processes in partnership with central TA teams.
    Participate in assessments and hiring of key roles, including initiatives aimed at developing national talent.
  • Engagement, Culture & Workforce Development
    Facilitate engagement activities and team sessions that support cultural alignment and employee wellbeing.
    Collaborate with government and academic partners to support national workforce development initiatives.
  • HR Projects & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
    Contribute to HR projects and transformation initiatives.
    Work closely with the wider HR function to ensure consistency, compliance, and delivery excellence across all people‑related processes.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Professional HR certifications (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR) are an advantage.
  • 5–7 years of broad HR experience across HR Operations, HR Generalist roles, or Business Partnering within a regulated or complex environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and problem‑solving capability.
