About the Role
This role reports to the EVP & Head of Customer Acquisition and is responsible for leading and driving the strategic growth of Retail Banking products through intermediary sales partners. The VP – Channel Partner Sales builds, manages, and optimizes third-party agency networks to ensure scalable, compliant, and profitable customer acquisition.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Channel Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the overall strategy for alternate and intermediary channel sales and define channel-specific KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Lead a team of regional/channel managers to ensure consistent execution across geographies and product types.
- Third-Party Agency Management: Identify, onboard, and manage DSAs and third-party agencies for personal loan and credit card acquisition.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Design incentive structures and engagement models to drive productivity and loyalty.
- Governance & Compliance: Implement robust governance frameworks for partner onboarding, training, and monitoring.
- Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments of partner channels.
- Performance Management & Analytics: Track and analyze channel performance using dashboards and MIS reports.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize channel mix, improve conversion rates, and reduce cost of acquisition.
- Present regular updates to senior leadership on channel health and growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams.
- Represent the bank in external forums and industry events to build brand visibility and partnerships.
What We’re Looking For
- Postgraduate/Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 8–10 years selling Retail products with competition banks or RAKBANK processes, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing third-party sales channels.
- Proven track record in scaling alternate channels and delivering high-volume acquisition targets.
- Strong understanding of personal loan and credit card products, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
