Job description
Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a variety of repair services, vibroflots, auxiliary vibro machine and related equipment.
  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance management and repair of all equipment, perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine/equipment is running smoothly to optimal specifications.
  • Detect minor issues/problems by performing basic check/tests to prevent major repairs and breakdown.
  • Monitor the performance of machinery/equipment and maintain preventive schedules for equipment.
  • Directs and/or performs the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of engines, other related equipment and systems, transmissions and all related mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and components.
  • Design and fabricates special devices and components to improve and enhance equipment system capability.
  • Keep updates with current latest technology regarding the maintenance and repair of all related equipment.
  • Work and act according to companies defined policies and procedures.
  • Report to workshop manager / Supervisor on work done and issues.
  • Provide timely workshop superiors with information regarding technical aspects and spare parts that need to be ordered.
  • Meets operational standards; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
  • Prevents delays and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
  • Updates working knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging mechanical practices.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
  • Ensure effective and safe mechanical operation and maintenance activities of all equipment as per HSE requirements.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with Organization’s Health & Safety policies.
  • Safety is a part of each employee’s job, active participation to the safety program is a condition of each employee’s employment in order to achieve safer working environment.
  • This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for – at times you will be ask to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements.
  • Work in compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Use any equipment, protective devices or clothing required by the employer.
  • Tell the employer or supervisor about any known missing or defective equipment or protective device that may be dangerous.
  • Report any known workplace hazard or violation of the Act to the employer or supervisor.
