Job summary

Havenpark Communities is seeking an experienced utility and operations professional to lead a team of analysts focused on recapture performance across multiple utilities. You will manage monthly cycles, investigate misses, and document root causes while overseeing billing changes and billback launches in platforms like ManageAmerica.

The role requires strong Excel skills, multi-state regulatory knowledge, and proven vendor negotiation abilities, with a focus on accuracy and timely communications

Qualifications

• 4+ years in utility management, property operations, or revenue/financial analysis.
• Proven people management experience setting expectations and reviewing work
• Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large GL exports
• Working knowledge of multi-state utility pass-through regulations or ability to learn quickly
• Strong vendor negotiation skills
• Excellent written communication for resident notices and executive summaries

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts and own recapture performance end to end (90% on water/sewer/stormwater, 100% on trash)
• Manage the monthly recapture cycle, investigating misses and documenting root causes
• Oversee billing operations including rate table changes and billback launches in platforms like ManageAmerica
• Manage the submetering installation pipeline and master contract trackers
• Negotiate and manage vendor agreements for waste, cable, and internet services
• Ensure 100% legal compliance regarding utility rate notice timelines across all operating states
• Build annual utility budgets based on trailing actuals and provider rate schedules
