Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Specialist Urologist to deliver comprehensive diagnosis and management of urinary tract and male reproductive system disorders at a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.

The role requires strong clinical and surgical expertise, patient-centered care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes and adherence to UAE healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Urology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general urology and urological procedures.
• Surgical experience and an appropriate surgical logbook may be required for licensing review.
• Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, and patient-management abilities.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive urological consultations, examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate disorders, urinary incontinence, and other urological conditions.
• Perform and manage appropriate urological procedures and surgeries within the scope of expertise.
• Manage patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, hematuria, urinary obstruction, and recurrent urinary infections.
• Perform or assist with endoscopic procedures such as cystoscopy and other minimally invasive interventions.
• Evaluate and manage male reproductive and sexual health conditions where appropriate.
• Interpret ultrasound, CT, MRI, laboratory investigations, uroflowmetry, and other diagnostic tests.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
• Manage urological emergencies including urinary retention, obstructed infected systems, renal colic, and acute urological trauma.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, general surgeons, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, procedures, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
