JOB DESCRIPTION

Role : Unit Head Talent Acquisition - Business

Location: Abu Dhabi

ROLE PURPOSE:

• The role holder is responsible to manage the recruitment to meet the various staffing goals within the bank.

The role holder works closely with internal & external stakeholders, in order to achieve recruitment targets.

Key Accountabilities of the role

Planning:

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies, create and update job descriptions, and set recruitment goals and KPIs.
• Manage full cycle of recruitment process to meet the various staffing goals within the bank.
• Coordinate with perspective unit regarding manpower allocation and utilization for business divisions assigned.

Sourcing Candidates:

• Identify sources of manpower requirement in order to plan staffing and hiring process in a cost-effective manner.
• Manage candidates sourcing process by choosing the best methodology including agencies and internal openings to identify talented candidates at all levels.
• Execute recruiting and advertising strategies to identify and attract top candidates.
• Handle Career Fairs & International Business Trips to identify talented candidates.
• Leads the organization of ADIB Recruitment campaigns and events within the community as required.
• Screen candidates sourced and ensure their fitness to the position requirements and validate their motivation to consider ADIB.
• Review mapping or list of potential candidate's CVs to business units for assessment, interview and their feedback.

Interviewing Candidates:

• Interview and provide competencies-based evaluation for candidates.
• Obtain interview feedback from business and/or panel of interviewers

Preparing proposals/contracts:

• Manage offer proposal process for shortlisted candidates, obtain documentation from successful candidates and prepare packages in conjunction with bank policies and market wages and discuss with the candidates before submission for management approval.
• Prepare candidates contracts as per the approved proposal and ensure proper and complete documentation in the file.

Due Diligence and Overall Process:

• Ensure overall compliance with ADIB polices and procures for each hire.
• Prepare required reports and MIS on comprehensive, accurate and timely basis. These include but not limited to reports on status of hiring, Emiratization, nationality diversity, ...
• Develops and maintains accurate records, reports and documentation pertaining to Recruitment-related initiatives.

Relationship Management:

• Consult with businesses to identify, interview and recruit talented candidates at all levels.
• Manage and strengthen the relationships with internal stakeholders effectively.
• Manage strategic relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure that the Talent Acquisition Model is linked to the business objectives.
• Collaborates with Emiratization to develop programs that encourage the recruitment of UAE National.
• Conduct regular meetings with the hiring managers to update the progress of talent acquisition and resolve/escalate any issues

7. External Relationships

• Establish and maintain relationships with external peers, vendors and consultants
• Manage and strengthen the relationships with external stakeholders effectively.
• Obtain market intelligence particularly on talent acquisition developments in the local, regional and global markets to refine ADIB's acquisition strategy
• Establish and maintain active relationships with relevant governmental and private institution with regards to recruiting the UAE nationals and supporting Emiratization fresh graduates from higher institutions of learning in the UAE

8. Leadership and Teamwork

• Manage a team of Recruiters and Recruitment Admin to achieve KPIs for the assigned portfolio.
• Provide coaching to junior team members to ensure their development as HR professionals.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork across the various units within HR and across the bank
