IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Uniform Room Attendant for voco Dubai The Palm. This role involves managing the daily operations of the uniform department, ensuring that all hotel staff receive clean and well-maintained uniforms on time while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or uniform room environment preferred, especially within a hotel.
• Basic understanding of garment care, washing, pressing, and sewing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping.
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, and team‑oriented approach.
• Physically fit and able to perform light lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and record staff uniforms accurately according to department and staff ID.
• Collect used uniforms and coordinate timely laundry processing.
• Inspect all uniforms for cleanliness, wear, or damage, and report repairs or replacements as needed.
• Ensure uniforms are properly pressed, labeled, and stored for easy access.
• Assist with basic sewing, alterations, or labeling of uniforms when required.
• Maintain an organized inventory of issued and returned uniforms.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient availability for all departments.
• Keep the uniform room clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Support the laundry and housekeeping teams with additional tasks as required.
• Provide courteous, professional service to all hotel employees.
