Job summary

EDGE, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a UAS Pilot to join its defence-focused technology group in Abu Dhabi. The role involves operating as a designated UAS flight crew member under the PIC and ensuring fleet readiness for national and international deployments.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant UAS flight crew license, have at least 24 months of junior pilot experience in UAS, and possess English proficiency at a high level.

Qualifications

• UAS category, class and type rating as per Pilot Currency Flight Syllabus.
• Civilian/military flight crew license incl. Radio Communication license; Higher technical education completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet serviceability and conduct UAS testing (GT/TT/FT/SIM).
• Perform internal/external flight operations and participate in deployments.
• Maintain operational currency for ADASI OPS department.
• Support national/international demonstrations and related OPS tasks.
• Meet ADASI PIC requirements for career progression.
• Provide status of OPS equipment and input on SOPs for risk mitigation and standardization.
• Contribute to UAS type enhancement through development activities.
