Role Summary: We’re hiring a Junior IT / Cybersecurity Engineer to support end-user IT, networks, and first-line security operations. You’ll help maintain secure endpoints, assist with incident triage, and contribute to vulnerability and patch management across a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 / L2 IT support for Windows workstations, basic Linux, and O365 accounts.
• Assist with network basics (switches / routers, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPN), user provisioning, and access controls.
• Monitor security tools (AV / EDR, email security, MDM, SIEM dashboards) and escalate alerts.
• Support vulnerability scanning, patch scheduling, and remediation tracking.
• Help document SOPs, asset inventories, and configuration baselines.
• Participate in incident response triage: evidence capture, ticketing, and follow-ups.
• Enforce IT policies (passwords, MFA, data handling) and support awareness campaigns.

Qualifications

• UAE National (UAEN) with a Family Book / UAE Passport.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Cybersecurity or related field.
• 0–2 years experience (internship or entry-level) in IT support or security operations.
• Familiarity with:
  • OS / Endpoint: Windows 10 / 11, basic Linux; EDR / AV; MDM / Intune.
  • Identity / Access: Azure AD / M365, MFA, least-privilege concepts.
  • Networking: TCP / IP, DNS / DHCP, VPN, firewalls (fundamentals).
  • Security Ops: SIEM basics, incident handling lifecycle, patching / vuln mgmt.
• Certifications a plus: CompTIA Security+ / Network+ , CCNA , Microsoft AZ-900 / SC-900 , ITIL.
• Proactive, service-oriented communicator (English essential; Arabic is a plus).
