Tanqeeb seeks an experienced Accountant in the UAE with strong UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and general accounting expertise. You will maintain records, file VAT, manage tax compliance, and prepare financial reports in line with FTA requirements.

Candidates should hold a degree in Accountancy and have at least three years of UAE accounting experience, with proficiency in Zoho Books or QuickBooks and Excel. UAE residency preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong practical experience in UAE VAT and tax compliance.
• Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax requirements and FTA procedures.
• Experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Manage VAT registrations, amendments, deregistrations, and other FTA-related requirements.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax registration, return preparation, and compliance.
• Review transactions to ensure the correct application of VAT.
• Reconcile VAT input and output accounts with the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Record invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, accruals, and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow reports.
• Maintain supporting documents for VAT, Corporate Tax, and external audits.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, suppliers, customers, and government authorities when required.
• Assist management with budgets, financial analysis, and other accounting matters.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and company information.
