Job summary

Aldar Education is seeking a UAE National Classroom Assistant for Bateen World Academy in Abu Dhabi to commence immediately. The school is a British and IB World School offering PYP through Year 6 and DP/CP in Years 12-13, located in central Abu Dhabi within a vibrant community.

The successful candidate will assist in classrooms, support individual and group activities, monitor progress, and uphold health and safety standards in alignment with school policies and inclusive education principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school certificate.
• At least two years of experience in a school setting.
• English language skills according to the school curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for individual pupils or groups inside and outside the classroom to help them participate in activities and support social, emotional and physical well-being.
• Be proactive in health and safety matters.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Programs and monitor pupil progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs and help develop social skills.
• Assist class teachers with maintaining pupil records and preparing displays of work.
• Support photocopying and other teaching tasks and help follow school policies.
