India Abroad in Zayed City, UAE, is seeking a responsible Pharmacist to dispense medications, advise customers, and maintain accurate pharmacy records. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, UAE licensure or eligibility, and strong organizational and communication skills.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, handle prescriptions, advise on OTC products, ensure proper labeling and inventory control, and follow safety procedures in a busy community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the UAE or able to obtain license.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and software applications used in pharmacy operations.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Responsabilités

• Receive prescriptions from customers and verify accuracy of dosage instructions.
• Dispense medications according to prescriptions, including correct dosage amounts.
• Advise customers on the selection of over-the-counter drugs according to symptoms.
• Answer customer questions regarding side effects, proper storage and usage instructions for medications.
• Ensure correct labeling of medication containers with patient information, drug name, dose and directions for use.
• Monitor inventory levels of drugs in the pharmacy; restock shelves as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions involving the sale or return of medications.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling hazardous materials such as drugs or cleaning products.
