Airwallex is seeking a Finance Manager, UAE, to own the UAE entity's finance and serve as the primary contact with the Central Bank of the UAE. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory obligations are met and will be the regulator's go-to for reporting matters.

You will join the EMEA Finance team, collaborating with Compliance, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and local management to shape the UAE operating model and reporting cadence from the ground up.

Competenze

• Professional finance or accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA/CFA).
• 8+ years of finance experience, including senior-level roles.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and regulatory reporting familiarity.
• Experience engaging with a financial regulator (CBUAE preferred).
• Experience in financial controlling and building finance capabilities.
• Clear, confident communication with regulators, auditors, and boards.
• Able to work independently in a hyper-growth environment.

Mansioni

• Act as the designated finance contact with the CBUAE for all reporting.
• Own preparation, review, and submission of CBUAE regulatory returns.
• Monitor regulatory capital, liquidity, and safeguarding of client funds.
• Own the UAE entity monthly close and financial control procedures.
• Prepare financial performance and cash commentary for local packs.
• Lead the annual IFRS audit and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance with Tax team.
• Support new product launches in UAE reflected in reporting.
• Drive process improvement and automation across UAE finance.
• Collaborate with Controllership on department projects.
• Responsibilities may develop over time.
