Are you excited by helping organisations and their leaders navigate complex regulatory issues We are looking for a driven highperforming Compliance Manager to join our UAE team based in Dubai and find smart compliance solutions to business problems without any compromise on customer experience.

Key job responsibilities

• Stay abreast of laws and guidelines applicable to the payment sector in the UAE and define their implementation at Amazon Payment Services.
• Monitor adherence to compliance standards suggest better controls when required.
• Escalate issues to senior management the compliance officer and the board as necessary.
• Articulate compliance requirements for Amazon Payment Services new initiatives in close collaboration with the business.
• Integrate sound risk management practices into compliance and business activities.
• Build healthy relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization be a trusted compliance advisor to the business.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the payments or financial sector either in a compliance/risk capacity or in control functions such as internal audit.
• Problemsolving positive and constructive attitude is a must.
• Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and operating in fastchanging environments.
• Structured factual and datadriven. Ability to deep dive into text or numbers and elaborate clear and synthetic insights.
• Proven ability to find practical solutions to complex compliance issues.
• Deep understanding of compliance processes and solutions in payments such as merchant due diligence watchlist screening transaction monitoring eKYC.
• Expertise in online payment regulations of the CBUAE and ideally from other advanced geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to write clear and synthetic documents and to communicate efficiently at all levels of the organization.
