Job summary

Abroad Work is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The position offers an excellent salary and we are open to foreign applicants. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required and at least 1 year in construction is preferred.

Responsibilities include planning, design, construction oversight, risk assessment, budgeting and reporting, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of construction industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee planning, design and construction of civil projects.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings and topographical data to plan projects.
• Ensure all projects meet safety regulations and codes.
• Analyze potential project risks.
• Estimate material costs.
• Evaluate project feasibility.
• Inspect project sites.
• Manage budgets.
• Supervise staff.
• Prepare reports.
• Provide technical advice during all lifecycle stages.
