Job summary

AI Muhaseb is seeking a Chartered Accountant to own monthly bookkeeping and close for UAE clients, ensuring IFRS-compliant, reconciled books. You will work with our AI assistant to deliver accurate VAT returns and corporate tax computations while providing clear explanations to clients.

You will review junior accountants, manage client relationships, and feed requirements back to product teams to improve UAE accounting solutions. Fluent English and willingness to relocate to UAE are essential.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on UAE accounting experience.
• Practical experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage client relationships.
• Fluent English; based in or willing to relocate to the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly bookkeeping and close for a portfolio of UAE clients, ensuring IFRS-compliant, reconciled books.
• Prepare and review VAT returns (VAT 201) and manage FTA filing timelines.
• Produce financial statements and management reports, and explain them to clients.
• Review work of junior accountants and maintain quality and documentation standards.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients on accounting and tax questions.
• Feed real-world accounting and compliance requirements back into the product team.
