Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, help locate items, provide advice or recommendations when needed.
• Scan goods through the cash register, collect payments, issue receipts, and count money in the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
• Bag customer orders correctly and ensure that they match the items’ prices against the receipt/invoice before handing them over to the customers.
• Manage returns/exchanges of merchandise by properly recording them into the system as per company policy.
• Keep track of all transactions accurately using POS system and cash register logs while ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate at all times.
• Balance register drawers at end of shifts while reporting discrepancies to supervisor/manager immediately.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of assigned area at all times in line with store policy.
