Job summary

Workato is seeking a Cashier for our El-Fujairah location in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires handling financial transactions accurately and delivering good customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and strong math and communication skills. Prior cashier experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting preferred but not required.
• Prior experience as a cashier preferred but not required.
• Excellent record keeping, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work productively under pressure with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments from customers in cash, checks, credit or debit card transactions.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and provide adequate change.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Balance daily sales according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cash register area.
