Job summary

EDGE Group is seeking an Industrialization & Supply Chain Coordination Principal Engineer to lead turbofan supply chain coordination across the production flow. The role focuses on supplier selection, qualification, and ensuring seamless material and parts delivery for certified engines or prototypes.

Ideal candidates bring extensive turbofan experience, exposure to international collaboration, and deep knowledge of aerospace supply chain dynamics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience within turbofan propulsion supply chain selection/qualification.
• Solid understanding of turbofan architectures and interfaces.
• Experience with material selection and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of aeroengine supply chain structure across countries.
• Knowledge of European/EMEA turbofan suppliers.
• Experience in manufacturing, FAI, validation and qualification.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and industrial quality.
• Experience with international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering Manufacturing, Product Management and Industrialization teams to select and qualify suppliers.
• Coordinate make-or-buy and supply chain strategy to ensure a resilient turbofan delivery plan.
• Coordinate manufacturing, assembly and test schedules.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to production delivery and supply chain.
• Ensure correct application of international laws, Powertech processes and export controls.
