Job summary

Kalyon Holding is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor for a high-speed rail tunneling project in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee scaffolding installation, maintenance, and dismantling, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.

You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with engineers and safety officers, and ensure timely, safe progression of tunneling activities. Arabic knowledge is a plus, and relocation to Abu Dhabi is expected for the project duration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Scaffolding Supervisor on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques, safety regulations, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams.
• Valid safety certifications related to scaffolding and site operations.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding on site to support tunneling operations.
• Ensure all scaffold work complies with safety regulations, engineering standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, safety officers, and other supervisors to plan and execute scaffolding activities efficiently.
• Train and mentor scaffolding teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety awareness.
• Prepare daily progress reports and document incidents or deviations related to scaffolding work.
• Manage resources including materials, manpower, and equipment to meet project timelines and budget.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
