Confidential in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic to maintain and service heavy-duty trucks and diesel tankers. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and major repairs while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires hands-on expertise with diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck components, plus familiarity with brands like Scania, Volvo, and MAN.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic for heavy trucks and tankers.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy trucks and diesel tankers, including major service tasks.
• Use truck diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and brake adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems, such as engine overhauls, transmission issues, and suspension systems.
• Replace or repair faulty components, including fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely servicing of the fleet and reduce downtime.
• Proven experience as a mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and diesel tankers, with expertise in major servicing tasks.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and truck components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
