Job summary

Bybit is seeking a senior treasury professional in Abu Dhabi to lead liquidity management and new product integration for a fast-growing crypto derivatives exchange. The role requires deep liquidity experience, cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams, and a strong data-first approach.

You will forecast liquidity, assess capital needs for new product launches, and work with stakeholders to ensure smooth go-lives while optimizing treasury efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years experience in crypto treasury, trading operations, or financial operations at a centralized exchange, DeFi protocol, or crypto-native institution.
• Hands-on experience with liquidity management across multiple assets and blockchains.
• Strong data analysis skills using SQL and Python/Pandas to extract insights and automate reporting.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills who can diagnose issues under pressure and drive resolution.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Liquidity Management: develop and maintain liquidity forecasting models, set early-warning thresholds and escalation protocols.
• Coordinate with Market Maker, Risk, and Operations to manage intraday liquidity needs.
• Build dashboards and reports tracking treasury metrics: surplus levels, reserve ratios, fund utilization.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing on liquidity positions.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on capital allocation and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Liquidity Management

• Develop and maintain liquidity forecasting models; set early-warning thresholds and escalation protocols
• Coordinate with Market Maker, Risk, and Operations teams to manage intraday and peak-period liquidity needs
• Build dashboards and reports tracking key treasury metrics: surplus levels, reserve ratios, fund utilization
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing on liquidity positions
• Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on capital allocation and efficiency improvements

New Product Integration

• Act as Treasury's lead point-of-contact for new product launches (e.g., earn products, lending, derivatives, new token listings)
• Evaluate capital requirements, settlement flows, and risk implications of incoming products
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to ensure smooth go-live

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5+ years experience, 1+ years in crypto treasury, trading operations, or financial operations at a centralized exchange, DeFi protocol, or crypto-native institution
• Hands-on experience with liquidity management across multiple assets and blockchains
• Strong data analysis skills — comfortable with SQL, Python/Pandas to extract insights and automate reporting
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills — can independently diagnose issues under pressure (e.g., chain congestion, unexpected withdrawal spikes, settlement mismatches) and drive resolution
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English

Strongly Preferred

• Prior experience at another major crypto exchange (Binance, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) — understanding of industry-standard treasury practices and where Bybit can differentiate
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics, DeFi protocols, and wallet infrastructure
• Experience supporting new product launches from a treasury/funding perspective
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (MiCA, VARA, etc.) as they relate to reserve and reporting requirements
