Job summary

Sharjah Islamic Bank is hiring for an Officer - Investment and Treasury Operations to provide essential administrative support to the investment and treasury front office. The role involves processing deals, monitoring payments, and ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliations in a busy banking environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of related experience, a commerce/economics background, and proficiency with Word/Excel, plus familiarity with core banking treasury systems such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or BBA/Economics is required.
• Two to three years of relative administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Word processing and spreadsheets; familiarity with banking treasury systems such as SWIFT/UAEFTS/XACT.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify and monitor treasury FX/MM/INV deals in daily operations.
• Extract and review MIS/settlement reports and Nostro reconciliation.
• Monitor payments, deal confirmations and related currency transactions.
• Assist in cash flow management and accounting entries for treasury deals.
