Job summary

Emarat Aloula Contracting is seeking a Treasury Accountant to manage day-to-day treasury operations in Abu Dhabi. You will monitor cash balances, forecast cash flow, process payments, reconcile banks and prepare treasury reports for management.

The role requires 3–5 years UAE experience, knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics), and a degree in accounting or finance. ACCA/CPA/CMA/CFA qualifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACCA/CPA/CMA/CFA (Part Qualified) will be an advantage.
• 3–5 years UAE treasury or similar finance experience; construction sector preferred.

Job description

The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the Company s day-to-day treasury operations including cash flow monitoring banking transactions payment processing bank reconciliations and treasury reporting The role ensures sufficient liquidity to support business operations while maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and ensuring compliance with Company policies and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Process supplier subcontractor payroll and other payments accurately and on time
• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies
• Coordinate with banks on fund transfers banking facilities account maintenance and related documentation
• Manage bank guarantees letters of credit LCs performance bonds and other banking instruments
• Prepare treasury reports cash position reports and banking reconciliations for Management
• Monitor receivables and support collection activities to optimize cash flow
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls Company policies and banking procedures
• Maintain accurate treasury records and supporting documentation
• Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities as well as internal and external audits
• Support the Finance Department with other treasury and accounting functions as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA (Part Qualified) will be an advantage.
• ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience as a Treasury Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Previous experience in a Construction, Contracting, EPC, Infrastructure, or Engineering Company is highly preferred.Sound knowledge of UAE banking practices, treasury operations, and cash management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar will be an advantage.
