Qualifications

• Tier 1: NLT 2 years relevant experience as a consultant or equivalent post board certification.
• Tier 2: NLT 8 years full-time employment as a Consultant or equivalent post-board certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports, implements, and follows hospital, departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Leads performance management, peer review, and productivity/utilization review processes.
• Assists with scheduling and ensures adequate medical coverage within the Division.
• Attends Divisional meetings and participates in recruitment of medical staff.
• Diagnoses and treats patients according to established standards of best practice.
• Oversees junior medical staff and ensures quality care.
