Job summary

Flip retail in the UAE seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee outbound logistics across all branches. You will manage transportation activities for the UAE warehouses, drive cost savings, and coordinate cross-functional projects while monitoring KPIs.

Experience in a Quick Service Dining environment and a sizeable fleet is essential. You will lead a 29-driver, 22-vehicle operation, including third-party logistics and cold-chain capabilities, ensuring efficient weekly distributions and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
• 4-5 years' experience in UAE.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role and 5 years in outbound logistics.
• Experience in Quick Service Dining establishment.
• Managed a fleet of at least 50 vehicles.
• Experience with cooled/frozen transport operations.
• Managed a team of 29 drivers and 22 vehicles with third-party providers.
• Experience handling 500+ weekly distributions.
• Budget management experience.
• Knowledge of logistics management in consumer goods distribution.
• Strong route planning, fleet management and maintenance knowledge.
• Proven project management and cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation procedures of UAE warehouse outbound logistics to branches.
• Execute savings initiatives to improve service and reduce operating costs.
• Coordinate daily operations with other departments and projects.
• Ensure achievement and monitoring of transportation KPIs.
• Prepare Transportation Communications as needed.
• Analyze variances between targets and actuals.
