Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s degree preferred).
• 3–5 years experience in transmission line projects (132kV+ preferred).
• Familiarity with substation interface design and grid codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs for transmission lines.
• Analyze load flow, short circuit, and stability using power system analysis tools.
• Evaluate equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and line protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with local standards (e.g., DEWA/TAQA).
• Support site surveys, route selection, and feasibility studies for transmission lines.
• Monitor and inspect installation of transmission line components to ensure quality and safety.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance, earth resistance, and line energization procedures.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for equipment and materials.
