Job summary

Emarat is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to support transformation initiatives by delivering financial analysis, insights, and recommendations that drive strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency.

You will prepare detailed reports, ensure accurate forecasts, and coordinate with departments to gather data for timely reporting, while auditing data for integrity and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of detailed financial reports that summarize the financial performance of transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure forecasts are accurate and reflect the latest data and assumptions.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary financial data and ensure timely reporting.
  • Review financial data for completeness and accuracy, identifying discrepancies or errors.
  • Implement processes to validate financial information and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial data to maintain data integrity.
  • Analyze financial results to assess the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and identify trends.
  • Prepare presentations and reports that summarize financial performance for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand financial implications and provide recommendations.
  • Evaluate existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for enhancement.
  • Recommend changes to financial procedures to improve efficiency and reporting.
  • Track the implementation of process improvements and assess impact on performance.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine financial implications of current processes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.

Quality & Excellence Management:
  • Assist the Transformation and Innovation Manager with the following activities:
  • Manage the development and implementation of strategy and growth operational quality standards and excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with Emarats goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate progress and performance against established KPIs to ensure that monthly and annual targets are met, identifying areas for corrective action as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably within a corporate or transformation environment.
