Job summary

Job description

• 3 axle mechanic , actross, volvo, scania
  Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on a variety of trailer types, ensuring roadworthiness and safety.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments, to minimize downtime and extend trailer lifespan.

• Conduct thorough brake system inspections and repairs, including adjustments, component replacements, and ABS system diagnostics.

• Service and repair suspension and steering systems, addressing issues like worn bushings, kingpins, and alignment problems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics is highly preferred.
• ASE or equivalent certifications in Medium/Heavy Duty Truck or Trailer Systems are a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience specifically with trailer repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing air brake systems, ABS, and electrical components is essential.
