Confidential in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineering Lead to guide and grow our practice. You will lead Traffic Impact Studies, Transportation Master Plans, and related studies, and oversee the development of robust transport models.

The role blends technical leadership, team mentorship, client engagement, and business development, with strong focus on Abu Dhabi authority approvals, stakeholders, and delivering high-impact traffic solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Transportation Engineering; Master's or PhD is desirable.
• 15+ Years of relevant experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
• Strong Abu Dhabi / UAE experience and knowledge of local authority requirements.
• Extensive hands-on experience in TIS, TMP, traffic operations, modelling and forecasting.
• Strong experience with CUBE Voyager / Abu Dhabi STEAM; ITC/DMT-approved STEAM modelling experience.
• Strong command of PTV Visum, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, and HCS; VISSIM is an advantage.
• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
• Strong client management and business development experience, including proposals and tenders.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), TMP, and Access & Circulation Studies.
• Develop and review strategic transport models using CUBE Voyager / Abu Dhabi STEAM and PTV Visum.
• Carry out and oversee traffic operational analysis using SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS.
• Lead traffic forecasting, junction/corridor assessments, and development of improvement measures.
• Manage projects through Abu Dhabi authority submission, review, and approval processes.
• Lead, mentor, and build a team of traffic engineers and transport modellers.
• Manage client relationships and represent the company in technical and commercial meetings.
• Support business development, including proposals, scopes and fees, and winning new work.
