Job summary

India Abroad in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Indian Baker to join our team. You will prepare breads, pastries and cakes using traditional Indian techniques, and ensure high quality by following recipes with attention to detail.

We require at least 2 years of baking experience, strong English communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time role offering 1800 USD per month with no accommodation and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of baking experience.
• Knowledge of traditional Indian baking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality.
• Excellent attention to detail; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of goods according to traditional Indian recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter.
• Roll, cut, and shape dough into various shapes and sizes.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with icing, glazes, or other toppings.
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
