Job Description

A long-established and trusted global brokerage is seeking a skilled and experienced Trading System Engineer—an important role within their trading operations team. With over 30 years of industry presence, this firm has built a reputation for transparency, innovation, and client success, offering a broad range of CFD products including forex, commodities, indices, and more.

Location: Night-shift (12 AM to 9 AM) – Dubai, UAE

This is a new headcount role covering the Asia region.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and health of trading platforms (e.g., MT4 / MT5), ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of the trading infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor platform performance, manage Data Centres, and address latency or connectivity issues.
• Investigate and troubleshoot trading system incidents, working closely with internal teams and vendors for swift resolution.
• Deploy and test new platform plugins and updates in coordination with development and QA teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering system configurations, operational procedures, and support policies.
• Collaborate with IT and trading operations teams to support platform enhancements and ensure system stability.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms, including server setup, administration, and plugin deployment.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server administration—installation, configuration, support, and maintenance.
• Experience working within VMware or other virtualization environments.
• Solid understanding of firewalls, network protocols, and security best practices related to trading infrastructure.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in high-pressure trading environments.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize issues in a fast-paced, high-availability setting.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 on-call rotation as part of the global infrastructure team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience documenting systems and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal IT procedures.
