Job summary

GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft is seeking a Trade Finance Specialist to manage LC, CAD, and bank guarantees across the Middle East. You will ensure payment terms are secured, documents are compliant, and banking arrangements run smoothly, working with Sales, Legal, and Logistics.

You will review LC clauses, prepare documents, coordinate bank guarantees, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payments and compliance with ICC rules. English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, international trade or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in trade finance, treasury, or export/import finance.
• Experience with letters of credit, CAD, and bank guarantees under ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG 758, URC 522).
• Experience with Middle East banks and customers is a plus.
• CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate the letters of credit terms with customers.
• Review LC clauses and align with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit LC and CAD documents to the bank.
• Coordinate the issuance of guarantees with banks and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for banking communication.
• Manage contracts and invoices for agents and distributors.
